2026 Fall Retreats Recap

Fall is a special time of year at Camp Iroquoina! As the leaves change colors and the summer bustle gives way to the beauty and quiet of autumn, camp continues to be a place where people of all ages can gather around God’s Word, enjoy Christian fellowship, and grow in their relationship with the Lord.

This fall, we were privileged to host three wonderful retreats, each with its own unique atmosphere, activities, and opportunities for spiritual growth. From engaging Bible studies and encouraging messages to outdoor activities and meaningful conversations, these weekends provided opportunities for attendees to be refreshed, challenged, and strengthened in their faith. It was a joy to see familiar faces return to Camp and new friendships formed along the way.

We praise the Lord for His goodness throughout this retreat season and for the many individuals who helped make these weekends possible. Whether through planning, preparing meals, maintaining the grounds, serving during the retreats, or faithfully praying for the ministry, each contribution played an important role.

As we close out another beautiful fall season, we invite you to look back with us at the memorable weekends, encouraging fellowship, and spiritual blessings experienced during this year’s fall retreats!

Autumn Awakening Bible Retreat

Autumn Awakening challenged young people through teaching on salvation, sharing the Gospel, and studying God’s Word. Nate Louro brought the kids through a number of Bible messages with the theme, “Things I Wish I Knew at Your Age.” The weekend also included a variety of activities, including a bake-off, glow soccer, verse memory, dodgeball, Iroquoina kickball, and Choose the Right Door.

The retreat provided a time of Bible teaching, fellowship, and encouragement, with appreciation for the leaders, chaperones, kitchen staff, music team, and those who helped prepare the camp for the weekend.

Ladies Retreat

The Ladies Retreat offered a refreshing weekend getaway for women to step away from the busyness of life and be renewed in God’s presence.

With teaching from God’s Word by Sylvia Amos, the retreat provided opportunities for meaningful fellowship with sisters in Christ while enjoying the peaceful beauty of autumn in full color at Camp Iroquoina.

Rooted: Young Men and Women Intensive Study

Rooted was a brand-new addition to our fall retreat offerings in 2026. The weekend allowed young men and women an opportunity to study sound teaching from God’s Word while enjoying the beautiful fall foliage at Camp Iroquoina.

Matt Hunt led 12 sessions on 1 Peter, going through each verse of the epistle, with a focus on striving under persecution.

Along with Bible teaching, the young people in attendance enjoyed Ultimate Frisbee, Razzleblast, good food, and opportunities for fellowship. Rooted was offered through Camp Iroquoina in conjunction with the Timotheos Project, a ministry stemming from Bethany Chapel (Yonkers, New York) with a focus on helping the next generation rightly divide the Word of Truth. A number of the young people were sponsored through the Timotheos Project so they could attend the study.
