THINGS TO KNOW & BRING TO CAMP

THINGS TO KNOW:

  • Camp Iroquoina’s insurance (co-insurance) is a supplement to your personal insurance.
  • All medications must be submitted to the nurse in their original containers at check-in. The nurse will administer them based on the information provided on the health form.
  • Drugs or medicine not administered by the camp nurse, alcohol, immoral literature, illegal weapons, guns, knives, and fireworks are NOT permitted.
  • Camp Iroquoina is a smoke-free, vape free, drug free & alcohol-free environment.
  • Any person found physically abusing another person at camp will be asked to leave camp.
  • Any person found in possession of alcohol, illegal drugs, illegal weapons, smoking/vaping devices, or immoral literature will be asked to leave camp.
  • Any person found to be bringing illegal drugs, alcohol, illegal weapons/guns may be in violation of state/federal law, in which the local authorities may be contacted.
  • Campers are NOT permitted to bring pets.
  • IMPORTANT: To avoid disruption to the camp programs, we request that parents do not call their children and campers do not call home except in cases of emergency.
  • Please be modest in apparel. No short shorts, two-piece bathing suits or “spaghetti straps.” Guys should not take their shirts off in public areas, unless for swimming.
  • Campers are NOT allowed in areas like the kitchen, dishroom, laundry rooms, or maintenance areas
  • Campers should not enter cabins, dorms, rooms that they are not staying in, unless invited.
  • Male campers are NOT allowed in female campers quarters, and female campers are NOT allowed in male campers quarters.
  • By attending camp you agree to follow all the above.

THINGS TO BRING:

  • Sleeping bag or blanket / linens
  • Pillow and case
  • Towel(s)
  • Shower items (soap/wash cloth, etc.)
  • Toothbrush & Toothpaste
  • Sports/play clothes you don’t mind getting wet or dirty
  • At least 2 pairs of sneakers/shoes
  • Slippers/flip flops
  • Jacket, sweater, or sweatshirt(s)
  • Winter Boots (Winter Retreats Only)
  • Bible
  • Notebook/Pen/Pencils
  • Spending money
  • Flashlight
  • Fan (Summer Only)
  • Bathing suit (For Summer Only)
  • Hiking boots (required for CIT)
