2025 Winter Retreat Recap

The winter retreat season started with the Winter Ascent Bible Retreat which was organized by Bethany Chapel (Yonkers, NY).

Allan Dunlap was the speaker, leading a group of nearly 30 kids ages 10-16 through God’s Word. While it was Allan’s first time at Camp Iroquoina, he is no stranger to camp, as he’s had the opportunity to speak at eight other camps including Bair Lake Bible Camp (MI), Camp Li-Lo-Li (NY), and Camp Elim (CO). He spoke on stories from the Old and New Testaments, with the theme of each message being centered around “the Big Picture of the Bible” and redemption.

It was a joyous time of learning and fellowship for all in attendance.

In February the Winter Advance Bible Retreat was held. The organizing assembly was Grace Gospel Chapel (Allentown, PA), and the speaker was George Murray. George spoke to 26 teens about the important topic of “Overcoming the World.”

In addition to the messages, those in attendance had time for activities, games, and fellowship.

A little over a week later camp held its final retreat for the season with the second annual Men’s Intensive Study, also organized by Bethany Chapel. Scott Dunkerton was the speaker, and his topic for this year was “The Holy Spirit: His Person, His Presence, and His Purpose.”

In just a day and a half, the nearly 40 in attendance were able to dive into Scripture during 10 sessions to learn more about the Helper and the role He plays in the believer’s walk. The messages were recorded and can be viewed on our YouTube Channel.
