BOYS CAMP HIGHLIGHT 5:ROCKET LAUNCH & CLOSING CAMPFIRE The final highlight for Boys Camp is how we wrap up the week. On Friday evening the camp gathers to watch the Rocket Launch, which displays all the rockets built by the campers in Rocketry, followed by the Closing Campfire, where there is one last message from Matt, but also a time for the campers to share what they learned/experienced during the week. It’s a great way reflect and wrap up the week, but it’s also a great way to leave everyone with memories that they can take home and a reminder of how God does amazing things during the week. That concludes our Boys Camp Highlights, and we hope to see you there! For more info and registration for Boys Camp see the #linkinthebio for another day or two! #campiroquoina #summercamp2019 #summercamp #iroqboyscamp2019 #highlights #rocketlaunch #campfire

BOYS CAMP HIGHLIGHT 4:BUDDY BURNER BREAKFASTWhat is a Buddy Burner Breakfast you ask?! Well first off you are not supposed to burn your buddy. As you see in the picture it’s outdoor cooking on a No. 10 can with vent holes cut out and a burner made of a tuna can with cardboard laced wax in it. Light the burner, put the can over top, let it heat a little and start cooking! Remember to start with the 🥓 so you can grease the can for the and It really is another great time that brings the campers together and teaches them to work together and help one another out to make breakfast, seeing they have to share a burner! It also shows them that they can cook their own food! It really is good experience! Just don’t burn your buddy and don’t put a grease fire out with water! #campiroquoina #summercamp2019 #summercamp #iroqboyscamp2019 #buddyburners #camphighlights

BOYS CAMP HIGHLIGHT 3:MID-WEEK COOKOUTIn the middle of the week at Boys Camp, the director and staff allow the kitchen staff to a night out and do a Cookout outside for dinner! It has all the things you can think of: burgers, hotdogs, baked beans, chips, etc. It gives the director’s staff an opportunity to serve the campers in a different way and for the campers to see them in a different atmosphere. The other great thing about is that the open space allows people to spread out and sit down with others and enjoy a meal in an atmosphere different from the usual table in the dining hall. Which allows for a little more conversation and better chance to know people. It truly is a great moment that helps bring the camp together. Just don’t get caught downwind of the smoke off the grill 😬#campiroquoina #summercamp2019 #summercamp #iroqboyscamp2019 #highlights #cookout
