  GIRLS CAMP HIGHLIGHT 5:GIRLS CAMP TRADITIONSEach year we all come back looking forward to some of our favorite Girls Camp Traditions. We love to make buddy burner breakfasts, sing together after meals, climb waterfalls at Salt Springs, warm up around bonfires, play Choose the Right Door, bond at Cabin Night, wreck in Razzleblast, and participate in theater performances. Our JCITs look forward to getting to take either a backpacking or canoeing trip each year. We also all look forward to our visit from Winnie the Pooh (the one and only Alice), and we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE our Secret Sisters! We can’t wait to see you this summer! Make sure to register!   GIRLS CAMP HIGHLIGHT 4:THEMESThemesEvery year we choose a theme for the week(s) of Girls Camp. We have had a lot of fun over the years as we have done the Olympics, Storybook, Life-Size Board Games, Narnia, Creation, Knights and Castles, and so many more. Once we choose our theme, we go all out. The cabins get decorated, we plan special activities, perform skits, dress up in costumes, and prepare a banquet at the end of the week. The campers work with their cabin to complete special challenges all throughout the week. You can expect some Amazing Adventures this year, and we can’t wait!   GIRLS CAMP HIGHLIGHT 3: FUN ACTIVITIES We love to plan fun activities at Girls Camp. Every day, the girls are able to participate in three activity periods. Our counselors and staff plan activities to make every minute enjoyable. When you walk around camp you will see campers participating in activities like woodsmanship, mission possible, crafts, sports, archery, canoeing, gaga, theater, swimming, painting, board games and more. Each evening, we also enjoy some unique all-camp activities. Our creative counselors and staff members plan epic evening activities that you will not find anywhere else. We have had a lot of fun playing the human version of Chutes and Ladders across camp, life-size Choose Your Own Adventures, mystery dinner theater, glow in the dark scavenger hunts, and more. We have a LOT OF FUN, and we hope you will join us!   GIRLS CAMP HIGHLIGHT 2:THE LORD’S GOODNESSWe know the Lord is good to all the camp sessions, but it really is The Highlight of our week. We want to be focused on this at Girls Camp. Each morning we wake up surrounded by God’s beautiful creation, and we spend quiet time with the Lord as a cabin. Throughout the day, we are challenged with the gospel in chapel, Bible study, and verse memorization. Our campers are split up into three units based on their ages, and Bible study teachers plan their lessons to reach each age group. Each evening activity ends with a spiritual wrap-up and then each cabin has a devotion led by the counselor. We are blessed by His goodness from beautiful sunrise to sunset!
