Whether you’re an avid sportsman, experienced shooter, or beginner, come to Camp Iroquoina for a special day of sporting clays and fellowship. This event will be a time of Christian camaraderie, good food, first-rate shooting, competition, and lessons from God’s Word. The retreat is open to both men and women.
If you have never shot before, our friendly instructors will teach you, and by mid-afternoon you’ll be able to shoot the course. If you don’t own the proper equipment, please contact us ahead of time so that we will be able to provide you with equipment. All shooters will participate in our safety and gun handling class.
New for 2012:
In addition to our regularly scheduled time of skeet shooting, there will be a Nerf gun battle for all ages on Friday night. If you wish to participate, bring a Nerf gun, Nerf bullets, a bandana, and a competitive spirit. If you don’t own a Nerf gun and wish to participate, Nerf guns can be purchased at Walmart for under $10.
Cost:
$60 if you bring your own shotgun and shells
$85 if you purchase shells at camp
The registration fee is $20 and is included in the cost of the retreat. There is an extra charge of $15 for registrations sent after May 9.
Things to Note:
- ** If you are under age 17 and have completed a hunter safety course, please bring documented proof or a current hunting license.
- There will be more safety and insurance forms to fill out at camp.
For more information, please email Jens Braaten, Peter Cobucci, or camp.
